Where in the World is AC/a???

Or maybe the better question is where hasn't AC/a been this past year?  The pace has been fast and furious.  AC/a employees have been racking up the miles both by land and air.  Not to mention clocking some long days at the office in order to make sure all of the projects are running smoothly.

Here are just a few of the pin points AC/a has created this past year.

• New Jersey - pharmaceutical glass plant

• Canada - paint booth/oven certifications

• Detroit - new business presentations

• Tennessee - asbuilting manufacturing plant

• Oklahoma - glass plant

• North Carolina - updating industrial plant

• Minnesota - land surveying

• New York - glass plant

• Wisconsin - all over the state surveying and providing engineering services

Our engineering, surveying and office teams are all dedicated to getting the job done on time and to our client's satisfaction.  So as we continue to work on current jobs and start new ones, you can rest assure that we are still available for any questions you may have and are ready to help with your next project.

Thank you to all of our clients and employees for making 2017 a great year, and we look forward to a busy 2018!

Did You Know that in Order to Fly a Drone You have to be Certified?

On June 21st, 2016 the FAA provided a new regulatory guide for small unmanned aerial systems.  FAA Part 107.  The FAA requires you to be certified to operate commercially.  So our very own Ty Dodge, Professional Land Surveyor, for WI and MN can say he is FAA Part 107 certified!

Auth Consulting & Associates has always prided itself on keeping up with technology within the industry and providing their customers with great service.  So it makes sense that AC/a would take the next step and add a drone to the team.  AC/a bought its first Phantom 4 drone at the end of the year.

AC/a will now be able to offer detailed high resolution aerial photos to assist with collecting data for topographic surveys, site planning, and site design to name a few things.  Also there are the added benefits of reduced time in the field and additional safety for our AC/a employees.

We look forward to using this technology on your next project.

Jake Fleishauer Joins the Ag Team at AC/a

Auth Consulting and Associates is pleased to announce Jake Fleishauer has joined the organization as an Agricultural Engineering Design Technician.  Prior to joining AC/a, Jake worked for the past five years in the Agricultural Engineering business.  Most of his career has been spent working on Ag related projects from conceptual design phases through construction.

Jake will be working with AC/a's busy Ag department on all projects from design, waste storage plans, farmstead layouts, site survey and stake out, to construction inspection.

Jake received a degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Technician from CVTC.  And also has additional education in Construction Management from UW-Stout.  Jake resides in Eau Claire with his wife Andrea.  He enjoys fishing, boating, and wake-boarding.  So pretty much anything on the water!  Jake is excited to join the team and gain further experience in Ag engineering and bring his ideas to the table.  AC/a is proud to welcome him aboard!

DBA Policy Picnics

AC/a was once again able to help sponsor and show our support to the Dairy Business Association (DBA) and our clients.  The policy picnics in our area were hosted byJon-De Farms in Baldwin WI and Dutch Dairy in Thorp WI.

These picnics allow members to network, address questions to DBA staff directly, and help inform members of the many issues that the DBA is working on.  These events have gone over very well and will continue to be hosted annually at member farms throughout the area.

We look forward to participating again in the 2018 future events!

AC/a Manages to Find Some Time for Fun!

The team enjoyed a great afternoon at the Spring Valley Golf Course for an employee outing of best ball.  Regardless if they were a first time golfer or an experienced one, everyone had a good time enjoying the sunshine and outdoor office!

As we are going through these winter months in Wisconsin it is important to remember that the plush greens of the golf course will be back to greet us again in a few months.  And with the deep freeze we have been experiencing lately that can't come soon enough!

Happy New Year from your AC/a Team!!!
