Timothy Auth, P.E.
President
Bio
Tim founded AC/a in 1995 and has over 30 years’ experience as an electrical and mechanical engineer working in the glass, mining, agricultural, healthcare, municipal, and other commercial/industrial markets. In addition to project and construction management, he has designed specialty systems for utilities, agribusiness, and industrial firms. Tim holds active PE registrations in 14 states and is a National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) record holder.

Matthew Hieb, P.E.
Vice President
Bio
Matt, an AC/a owner, has over 24 years’ experience as a civil engineer. He manages the company’s Hudson, WI branch office and handles all civil engineering oversight. His background is in project planning, design, and engineering, and he works on private, public, and large commercial/industrial engineering projects. Matt has PE registrations in multiple states and is a National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) record holder.

Kip Johnson, P.E.
Civil Engineer, Senior Project Manager
Bio
Kip Johnson has over 18 years’ experience in project engineering in roadway, highway design, residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects. He has designed and supervised the design and construction of various land development projects from conceptual layout through final construction. Kip is a National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) record holder and a LEED Accredited Professional.

David McDaniel, P.E.
Agricultural Engineer, Project Manager
Bio
Dave has worked on agricultural projects across Wisconsin and Minnesota including dairy farm expansions, new facility startups, manure transfer/storage/treatment systems, mechanical sand separation facilities, anaerobic digesters, outdoor animal lots, and runoff management. With 27 years of experience with engineering and environmental projects, he is responsible for subsurface investigation, topographic surveys, site design, wastewater system design, permit assistance, and other construction services.

Michael Dietrich, P.E.
Industrial Manufacturing, Project Manager
Bio
As an Industrial and Manufacturing Project Manager, Michael is responsible for the design, permitting, and construction of some of the firm’s larger, national glass and electric industry projects. In a career spanning over 24 years, he has been responsible for engineering, environmental compliance programs, and maintenance functions as well as project management functions. He also assists clients in obtaining state and federal grants for qualified projects.

Cory Fisher, P.E., P. Eng
Structural Engineer
Bio
Cory has over 17 years’ experience in structural engineering, design, and drafting. His experience in engineering analysis includes conventional steel framing, wood framing, masonry, concrete, cold-formed steel, foundation systems and specialty designs including vibration analysis, paint booth designs, and electrical enclosure designs. Project involvement typically encompasses pre-bid designs, state submittals, on-site inspections, design/code compliance and setting project goals/schedules. Cory is actively licensed in 38 US states and 5 providences in Canada, along with being a member in multiple engineering associations.

Zachary Fagan, P.E.
Project Manager
Bio
Zachary has designed and supervised commercial, residential, agricultural, and industrial site land development projects, feasibility studies, farm facility improvements, and non-metallic mining and reclamation plans. He has degrees in Civil Engineering Technology and Surveying Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology and is a National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) record holder.

Jeffrey Lawrence, P.E.
Mechanical & Agricultural Engineer
Bio
Jeff has over 20 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer in project engineering and has an extensive background working with plumbing design. He has worked on projects involving industrial piping, backflow prevention, wastewater, and HVAC systems for industrial, commercial, multi-tenant, and agricultural facilities. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Platteville.

Dale Adams
Mechanical Designer & Project Manager
Bio
Dale handles electrical and HVAC design and drafting as well as project management, site and construction supervision. His project experience encompasses commercial and industrial controls, power, lighting, alarm, and HVAC systems in the energy, railroad transload, glass manufacturing, and water treatment fields. Dale also has extensive experience in designing evaporation cooling systems, geothermal, chilled water, and process heat recovery systems.

David Paulson
Project Manager & Design Technician
Bio
Dave has over 16 years’ experience in architectural and structural drafting and design. His experience includes commercial/industrial design of projects in New York, Kentucky, Washington, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. He handles structural steel detailing, layout and conceptual design development, construction supervision and conducts engineering inspections. Dave also provides building code analysis.

Dustin Kilness
Electrical Designer & Project Manager
Bio
Dustin has designed electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems for residential, commercial and industrial facilities including multi-family housing, hotel/motel, supermarkets, and healthcare facilities. In addition to his design work, he manages projects and is responsible for facility reviews and engineering inspections. Dustin is a Wisconsin-licensed electrical designer and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a B.S. in Engineering Technology.

Michael Bucher
Civil & Agri. Project Manager
Bio
With more than 15 years of experience in the agricultural and civil engineering industries, Mike has designed dairy farm expansions, manure storage & transfer systems, and sand & solids separation systems. His civil experience includes site design, recreational pond design, and stormwater treatment systems. He also provides engineering services such as engineering drawings, site survey, construction staking and construction inspection.

TJ Auth, E.I.T
Electrical Engineer
Bio
As an Engineer in training, T.J. provides support on many engineering projects and continues to work towards acquiring the necessary experience to obtain his Professional Engineering license. T.J. also manages the computer and technology resources for the Menomonie and Hudson offices. T.J. has a B.S. degree from U.W. Madison for Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Garrett Auth, E.I.T
Structural Engineer
Bio
Garrett is an Engineer in Training and handles the calculation packages along with structural drafting and design. He assists the project managers and construction-site supervisors to gain the essential knowledge for his Professional Engineering license. Garrett has a Bachelor of Science degree from U.W. Madison for Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.

Kyle Gilles
Design Engineer
Bio
As a Design Engineer, Kyle handles the mechanical design and engineering for our Menomonie, WI location. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and has worked as a project engineer prior to joining AC/a.

Jake Fleishauer
Agricultural Engineer Design Technician
Bio
Jake has over 5 years’ experience in agricultural engineering design. Most of his career has been spent working on agricultural projects from conceptual design phases through construction. Jake works with the Ag department on all projects from design, waste storage plans, farmstead layouts, site survey and stake out, to construction inspection.

Mike Woodcock
Drafting Technician
Bio
Mike handles architectural and structural drafting projects. Some of his project experience includes warehouse building design and site layout, townhomes and apartments, office buildings, and storage facilities. Mike also has experience working with glass factories on their furnace glass drains, conduit layouts and stormwater systems.

Scott Harmer
Drafting Technician
Bio
Scott has over 6 years’ of drafting and modeling experience. His project experience encompasses multi-tenant office and apartment buildings, custom steel platform framing and foundation, warehouses and industrial facilities, and building and foundations. Scott also has experience with steel detailing and structural and architectural drafting.

Wyatt Kreutzer
Drafting Technician
Bio
Wyatt has over 12 years’ experience in drafting and design incorporating structural, architectural, civil, mechanical and marine disciplines. His knowledge of Revit and 3D modeling has created realistic and accurate documents for Government & Corps of Engineers, commercial, mining, marine ports, academic & residential projects. Wyatt attended Chippewa Valley Technical College and holds an Architectural Structural Design degree.

Cory Schoonover
Drafting Technician
Bio
Cory has 19 years of drafting experience in architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing design. His drafting expertise includes government offices, schools, restaurants, and ADA-compliant medial and assisted living facilities. Cory has an Architectural Technology degree from Dakota County Technical College.

Alec Chapman
Mechanical Engineer
Bio
Alec handles the mechanical design and engineering for our Menomonie, WI location. He has experience with various commercial and industrial HVAC systems along with designing and drafting commercial HVAC systems. Alec is pursuing his E.I.T. certification and working on attaining the necessary knowledge to complete his Professional Engineering license. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.”

Doug Zahler
Professional Land Surveyor
Bio
Doug manages survey requirements for rural residential development projects including assisting with land selection, design, governmental approval process and construction coordination. He has over 30 years’ experience performing boundary, topographic, and flood plain surveys, and conducts development suitability examinations, develops subdivision plats. He holds a Wisconsin registration and manages our survey teams in Hudson, WI.

Ty Dodge
Professional Land Surveyor
Bio
Ty works with individuals, municipalities, commercial and industrial entities in Minnesota and Wisconsin delivering surveying and mapping services. He has over 15 years’ experience performing boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/ACSM and subdivision plats, construction staking, flood plain surveys and FEMA Elevation Certificates. He is a Professional Land Surveyor on site for in-field boundary supervision and represents clients during the governmental approval process

Ron Jasperson
Professional Land Surveyor
Bio
Ron Jasperson, a Professional Land Surveyor, handles boundary surveys, certified surveys, construction staking, and topographic site maps for the Menomonie, Wisconsin location. Ron has an Associate Degree from Chippewa Valley Tech and has worked in the surveying industry since 1990.

Jeffrey Somerville
Crew Chief & Field Survey Technician
Bio
Jeff works on urban and rural surveys and on engineering projects. His experience includes aerial photo interpretations, bluff line surveys, cave, lake, and river surveying and mapping, highway surveys, and environmental studies. He has provided construction staking for commercial/ industrial jobs, and residential inspections for municipal agricultural projects.

Joe Scheidler
Civil Engineer/Survey Technician
Bio
As a Civil Engineering/Survey Technician, Joe provides surveying services and assists with drafting services for our Agricultural and Civil Engineering departments. Joe has an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering from Mid-State Technical College and has worked in the industry since 2001.

Becky Auth
Office Manager
Bio
In her role as Office Manager, Becky handles the payroll, corporate accounting, and accounts payable for both the Menomonie and Hudson, WI locations. She coordinates and organizes office procedures and operations, oversees the administrative staff in both offices, works with AC/a’s new hires, and is responsible for administering the company’s Human Resource policies and procedures. She has a B.S. degree from Marquette University.

Jody King
Executive Administrator
Bio
Jody is the Executive Administrator who handles the corporate accounting, along with managing company benefits and insurance for our Menomonie and Hudson, WI locations. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Winona State University.

Jolene Dikeman
Administrative Assistant
Bio
As Administrative Assistant, Jolene handles accounts payable, administrative functions, and is the front office person for our Menomonie, WI location. She has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Minneapolis Business College.

Janet Zimmer
Customer Relations Manager
Bio
Janet works with AC/a’s clients and manages the daily organization of project contracts, development of specifications and various marketing materials. Janet has an Associates’s Degree in Software Development from Chippewa Valley Technical College.
